Genesis 1:26-31
[26] Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
[27] God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
[28] God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
[29] Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you;
[30] and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so.
[31] God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
This is the 43rd Lecture on Genesis.
In the last lecture, I explained how God the Trinity created man in Their own image and likeness.
Psalm 139:14 says, "I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well."
Just as this Psalmist says, I will tell you a few things to explain how fearfully and wonderfully God made man's body.
I was told that a car consists of about 13,000 parts, and that you need about 3,000,000 parts to assemble a Boeing 747.
They say that about 5 million parts are required to build a space shuttle.
However, a man's body consists of more than 60 trillion cells. (60,000,000,000,000)
An adult has 206 bones.
Human's bone is stronger than granite.
A bone in a size of a small match box can support 10 tons, which is stronger than concrete.
The bone structure constantly changes so that the entire skeletal system of the human body renews every 7 years.
The surface area of the skin for the average male is 1.9 square meters, and it is 1.6 square meters for a female.
The skin constantly peels off and renews; it is completely renewed every 4 weeks.
It is as though you put on a new natural water resistant suit of skin every month
The total length of the circulatory system of the blood vessels is about 120,000 kilometers.
This length could circle around the earth 3 times.
Dear brothers and sisters.
Do you know just how fast a "blink the eye" really is?
It takes 1/40 of a second.
On an average, a man blinks his eyes 15 times a minute, or about 900 times an hour.
The blinking of the eye protects the eye, and soothes and lubricates the cornea.
Deuteronomy 32:10 says that God "guards His people as the pupil of His eye."
David prayed in Psalm 17:8 that God may 'keep him as the apple of the eye.'
God protects the children of faith just as the eyelid protects the pupil by quickly coming down when dust enters into the eye.
Even in a very urgent and dangerous situation like a fatal car accident, for example, God work very quickly through angels.
Those of you who have experienced it already know how quickly God works and protects you.
Now, Proverbs 7:2 says, "Keep my commandments and you will live, and guard my teaching as the apple of your eye."
It tells you to keep the commandments of God as though it was the apple of your eye.
When something you think may be unrighteous approaches, you should quickly turn back. When the deceiving things of the world come near you like particles of dust, you should quickly bring down the eyelids of your heart so that they cannot get into your heart.
By doing this, you should always live in the word of God so that the things of world cannot sneak into you for a minute, a second, or not even 1/40 of a second.
Now, let's talk about your nose.
Every 3 or 4 hours, the two nostrils take turns doing their job.
As the nostrils breathe in air, one nostril detects odors while the other just passes the air.
On the tongue of a man, there are about 9,000 taste buds which can detect tastes.
Inside an ear, there is an eardrum which can receive the vibrations of sound waves.
In the eardrum it smells very bad.
This is to prevent any tiny insects or worms from hurting the interior of the ear if it enters into the ear.
Well, let's take a look at the inside of a man's body.
Each lung has about 3~500 million alveoli, which, if stretched out, would be able to cover between 70 and 100 square meters.
This is an area that is about half the size of a basketball court.
Such huge things are folded so intricately inside your body.
What about your stomach?
The gastric acid which is secreted by your stomach has such a high level of acidity that it can dissolve zinc.
If your stomach secreted only this gastric acid, the stomach walls will be severely damaged.
However, your stomach has an epithelial layer called the 'mucous membrane' which produces mucus to prevent damage. In addition, an alkaline secretion is produced that neutralizes the gastric acid and prevents the walls from being dissolved.
At the same time, the cells of the stomach walls are continually replaced with new cells. The cells of the wall are renewed every 3 days.
Now, 4.7 liters of blood passes through your heart every minute.
If you think about the size of a 2 liter water bottle you can realize how quickly the heart is pumping the blood.
The blood that is pumped from the heart travels throughout your body and returns to the heart in approx. 46 seconds.
And the amount of the blood of a man is proportional to his body weight.
There are about 80 milliliters per 1 kilogram of body weight; if you weigh 60 kilograms, you may have 4.8 liters of blood.
The main constituent of blood is the erythrocyte (red blood cell) that is produced in bone marrow at the rate of 20,000 per second.
Let's take a look the digestive tract. Beginning in the mouth it is about 8.5 meters from one end to the other.
The large intestine is 1.5 meters long. The small intestine is 6 meters long which is the longest part of the digestive tract.
A human can survive even if he loses half of his stomach, or with just one kidney or one lung.
Your fingernail grows, if normal, 3 millimeters a month. The middle fingernail grows quickest, and the little fingernail is the slowest.
There are many more amazing facts about human body.
When God created man, He did it 'fearfully and wonderfully.'
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
Genesis 1:26 records that, after God created man, God said "let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
God the Trinity created man, and said that They would let man rule over the fish, birds, cattle, and other animals as well as all the earth.
In this verse, 'all the earth' includes the Garden of Eden which belongs to the 2nd heaven in addition to the earth which belongs to the 1st heaven.
Even though Adam was created of the dust from the ground, he became a living being as the breath of life was put into him.
He was not in the same dimensional level as the plants and animals of the earth which belong to the fleshly dimension, but he was made as a being that belongs to the spiritual dimension.
With the space as the standard, the 1st heaven is in the 1st dimension, and the 2nd heaven, in the 2nd dimension.
The law of the spiritual realm dictates that the beings of the higher dimension can rule over the beings of the lower dimension.
God created the 1st man, Adam, from the dust of the ground that belongs to the 1st dimension, but He put His breath of life into his nostrils so that he could become a living being that belongs to the 2nd dimension.
Since Adam was a living being who belonged to the 2nd dimension, he could rule over the things that are not only in the Garden of Eden of the 2nd dimension, but also over all the earth of the 1st dimension.
Therefore, even though Adam lived in the Garden of Eden, he could freely travel to the earth.
God gave the 1st man, Adam, a very great level of authority.
You can come to realize just how great God's expectation for Adam was.
Genesis 1:28 records how much blessing God gave to Adam as He was pleased to created the first man, Adam.
It says, "God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.""
The first blessing that God gave to Adam was to 'be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.'
Along with Even Eve, whom God gave to Adam as his wife, Adam became fruitful, multiplied, and filled the 'earth' in the Garden of Eden.
It means he gave birth to many children so that his descendants might flourish.
The 2nd blessing that God gave to Adam was to 'subdue the earth.'
As I said earlier, 'the earth' in this verse refers not only this Earth, but also the Garden of Eden.
When the king of a country conquers another country the land of the conquered country becomes the possession of the conquering king.
Therefore, the fact that God allowed Adam to subdue the Garden of Eden and the Earth means that everything in them belonged to Adam.
God gave Adam the Garden of Eden and the Earth as inheritance.
The 3rd blessing that God gave to Adam was to 'rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.'
As I will explain in Chapter 2, God gave Adam wisdom and understanding to make it possible.
There are fish, birds, and land animals not only on earth, but also in the Garden of Eden.
Adam knew how to communicate with all these animals.
However, it doesn't mean that he could communicate with animals as he would communicate with another man.
He ruled over the animals by being in communion with them.
For example, a well tamed pet can even sense the affectivity of its master.
When the master is happy, the pet becomes also happy, but when the master is sad, the pet is also sad.
The master and the pet are in emotional communion to some degree.
Adam could be in clear communion with animals so that he could rule over them.
By the way, there was another reason why God allowed Adam to subdue the earth and to rule over everything.
In the second heaven to which the Garden of Eden belongs, there is an area where the spirits of the darkness dwell.
The Garden of Eden which belongs to the domain of light and the domain of darkness meet each other.
When God gave Adam the authority to subdue and rule over the earth, God wanted him to protect the Garden of Eden and the Earth from the forces of the darkness.
When Adam was a living being, he protected and ruled the Earth and the Garden of Eden with the authority given by God.
And thus, the enemy devil and Satan could neither covet nor sneak into the Garden of Eden.
They couldn't do anything harmful to the things which were under the authority of Adam.
Lucifer stayed in the domain of darkness in the second heaven along with other evil spirits under her control and continuously thought of plans to deceive Adam.
Lucifer was on the alert for an opportunity to cause Adam commit sin and make him her prey.
With the authority given by God, however, Adam ruled over the Garden of Eden and the Earth very well for a long time.
Since Adam was a sinless living being, resulting from his authority of light, the forces of the darkness couldn't even come close to him.
Now, Genesis 1:29 says, "Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.""
The examples of the 'plant yielding seed' are tomatoes, cucumbers and melons such as watermelon.
The examples of the 'fruit yielding seed' are apples, pears, peaches, grapes and other fruit that are borne from a tree.
Since Adam would come down to the earth, God told Adam beforehand about the food which Adam would eat to survive.
From the beginning, God provided Adam with a vegetarian diet .
And later, there was an incident which resulted in meat being allowed in the diet .
It was after the judgment of Noah's Flood that God allowed man to eat meat.
In Genesis 9:3-4, God said, "Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood."
While Adam was living in the Garden of Eden, the animals on earth ate only plants and drank water.
Regarding this, God said in Genesis 1:30, "and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so."
Before the earth was cursed, the animals were not evil. They didn't fight with each other and they didn't hurt each other.
All the animals were able to survive by eating plants and drinking water; they lived in peace according to the law of the flesh.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
Genesis 1:31 says, "God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good."
During the 6 days of Creation, God saw that it was just "good" until He created animals on the 6th day.
Of course, on the 2nd day when the dwelling place for the evil spirits was prepared, there was no such expression as 'He saw that it was good.'
However, after He created man on the 6th day, He saw that it was 'very good'.
It was because God believed that He would get true children through Adam.
Until He did receive the true children, He had to go through many heart-suffering things such as Adam's committing sin and being driven out to the earth.
However, He believed that lots of true children would be borne in the love of God the Trinity, and thus He rejoiced.
What did God do when Enoch came out as the first fruit to accomplish the whole spirit through the human cultivation?
Genesis 5:24 says, "Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him."
And regarding this, Hebrews 11:5 says, "By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; AND HE WAS NOT FOUND BECAUSE GOD TOOK HIM UP; for he obtained the witness that before his being taken up he was pleasing to God."
As Enoch entered into the whole spirit, God rejoiced so much, and always walked with Enoch.
Furthermore, He wished to have him even closer so God led him into heaven alive when Enoch was at the age of a young man in those days.
Likewise, God is pleased with the true children who accomplish the whole spirit.
Therefore, I hope that you will surely accomplish the whole spirit and join the rank of true children.
God the Father wants all of you to be like this, and He awaits you in His perfect love.
He pours down grace and strength onto those who seek Him, and God helps them come into the spirit and whole spirit.
If you become a true child by accomplishing the whole spirit, you will receive greater authority and power than the authority and power which were given to Adam, a living being.
Adam who was a living being was a 2nd dimensional being that belonged to the 2nd heaven. But if you accomplish the whole spirit, you become a 3rd dimensional being that belongs to the 3rd heaven.
It means that you can rule over all the things of both the 2nd dimension and the 1st dimension as long as it is not beyond the scope of justice.
When a man of whole spirit gives an order to the spirit of darkness, the spirit has no other choice but to obey.
When he says, "Go away," then it has to go away.
You can see that when Jesus ordered a demon to get out, the demon obeyed.
Moreover, when He ordered the wind and waves to be still, they also obeyed.
Not only Jesus, but also Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter, Deacon Philip, and Deacon Stephen manifested many signs and wonders.
As they accomplished the whole spirit, they were given the authority to rule over the things that belonged to the flesh and over the forces of the darkness.
You must have had experience with dragonflies during the summer retreat.
The appearing and disappearing of dragonflies and also their number can be controlled as desired.
The authority to rule over the fleshly dimension is followed.
If you come into the whole spirit, you can also receive this spiritual authority and power.
Adam, a living being, was a 2nd dimensional being, and he subdued and ruled over the Garden of Eden and the Earth.
However, if a man who experienced the 1st dimension through human cultivation accomplishes the whole spirit, he will become a 3rd dimensional being, a being of a higher dimension than the 2nd dimension.
He becomes God's true child who resembles not only the outward image of God, but also the heart of God.
God the Father desires to get countless true children like him.
And thus, He unfolds the fiery power of the Holy Spirit as it is close to the end time.
He does so because the seed of life that He has planted into all the men can only be awakened by the work of the Holy Spirit.
Additionally, once the seed of life wakes up, the spirit can spiritually grow up well only when provided with the gospel of holiness.
It is possible because the gospel of holiness is the word that cultivates the heart field.
When you cultivate the heart field into fertile land, it is the same as possessing spiritual land.
You are not subduing your own heart to the same extent that you don't cultivate the heart-field into fertile land.
That's why you cannot control yourself even though it is your own heart.
To that extent, you are instigated by the enemy devil and Satan, and you come to work as they incite you.
God told Adam to subdue the earth and to rule over everything.
This has implications with very deep spiritual meaning.
'The earth' refers to the heart of man who was created of dust from the ground.
When Adam was a living being, he could subdue the whole earth and ruled over it.
Since his heart was spirit itself, he didn't need to separate the spirit from the heart.
However, when he committed sin he gave room in his heart to the enemy devil and Satan.
The spiritual land was taken over by the enemy devil and Satan.
As its result, he was deprived of the ownership of the Garden of Eden, and driven out to this earth.
He could not rule over the earth as he once did; he had to work hard to eat from the ground.
As Adam, who used to rule over the earth, became like this, all the things that belonged to the earth were also affected by the enemy devil and Satan.
The reason for this is because Adam didn't conquer his heart; which was spiritual land.
In other words, whoever conquers his heart, which is his spiritual land, can recover the authority and power which Adam once possessed.
If you accomplish the whole spirit, you will become a 3rd dimensional being, and thus you will receive greater authority and power.
Therefore, it is so important to conquer your own heart which is spiritual land.
Proverbs 4:23 says, "Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life."
But, as long as you have fleshly attributes left in your heart, you cannot be said to have conquered your heart completely.
Even if just a tiny little bit of fleshly attribute is left in you, your heart will change so easily and it will become deteriorated.
If you know this well, you should quickly cast off the flesh, and possess the heart of spirit.
From your heart field, you should completely take out spiritual stone which is the lust for the world.
You should also pull out the spiritual thorns.
In other words, you should cast off all the untruth that works as fleshly thought due to worries about the world and the greed for money that makes you disobey the word of God.
By yielding abundant fruit of the Holy Spirit, you should accomplish the heart of the spirit and whole spirit.
Then, you will become a 3 dimensional being that is higher than Adam, and you can subdue and rule over everything in justice.
May you accomplish this level and give glory to God the Father whether you should drink or eat or no matter what you do, in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, I pray!!!
