"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13)_ "Miracle Junior" Glorifies God with Beautiful Performance

Manmin students have increased their God-given dream and vision, and among them was 'Miracle Junior' a group that belongs to the Performing Arts Committee of Manmin Central Church. It was organized in 2013, and is made up of middle and high school students who major in string and brass instruments.

The members want to get into Nissi Orchestra which is the first orchestra in the world formed only for the glory of God. They both study in school and practice playing their instruments to become outstanding players both in spirit and body. Despite their busy schedules, they have increased faith and skills relying on God by prayer.

"One should start to take lessons to major in string instruments before entering school or at least when they are elementary schools. But most of the team members made a decision about their goal quite late, even as late as when they entered middle school. It seemed to be hard in reality but as they asked for God's strength their skills have been improved very quickly," said Senior Deaconess Mijin Oh, their tutor.

They have experienced the grace of God who made things seemingly impossible, possible.

Sister Yerim Yim, violinist, 12th grader in Youngdeok High School, shed many tears feeling her skill had not been improved. But whenever she gave special praises, she felt that her confidence and skill was increased by God's grace. She said that she prayed because she needed a violin for the college entrance exam and God moved her grandmother's heart to buy it for her (Photo 3).

Sister Yaeeun Kim, violinist, 9th grader in Munchang Middle School, said, "I decided to major in violin late. As I had to practice it for more than four hours a day, I had a hard time. I felt weary due to great pressure. But since I became a member of Miracle Junior, I have felt God's grace more. I believe that my efforts I am making will make my skill better and be offered up as a sweeter aroma to God" (Photo 4).

Sister Jooeun Lee, violinist, 11th grader in Deokwon Arts High School, stated, "I practiced thinking about the word of Senior Pastor telling us to trust and rely on God. I was admitted to arts high school through Senior Pastor' prayer, although I was quite late to start to prepare for the entrance." When she was two years old, she vomited everything she ate even after drinking water. She was in danger due to severe dehydration but she was healed quickly after she received Senior Pastor's prayer. She was also healed of atopic dermatitis (Photo 6).

Sister Jiwon Park, flutist, 11th grader in Deokwon Arts High School said, "I did not have much time to prepare for the arts high school entrance exam because I had not thought about entering the school. I thought if it was in God's will I would be able to be accepted. On the list of successful applicants was my name! It was God's miracle" (Photo 8).

Brother Jueon Yim, violist, 8th grader in Cheonwang Middle School, said, "When I listened to Senior Pastor's Lectures on Genesis, I came to have a hope to console the heart of God through my performance." In the middle, he couldn't help stop studying music because of financial problems but he has held the dream thanks to Dr. Jaerock Lee's support. Before he was born, chances were high that his mother would have a miscarriage with him, but he was born healthy after she received Dr. Lee's prayer. He was also healed of impetigo and burns without wound or scaring (Photo 7).

Sister Hayoung Lee, violinist, 11th grader in Gyeonggi Arts High School, said, "Since I was very little, I have attended Daniel Prayer Meeting. I worship and summarize sermons with longing for the heart of spirit. I want to be a violinist with a beautiful and good heart and thereby become a source of strength to the church and the shepherd" (Photo 1).

Sister Dayoung Kim, trumpeter, 7th grader in Yewon Middle School, said, "I want to study a wide range of music with faith in God who always leads me to good ways." Within two years after she started to play the trumpet, she was ranked first in Woohyun Competition, Music Association Competition, and Seoul Nat'l University Gwanak Competition. In 2017 she was blessed to be admitted to Gifted Program Center in Korea National University Of Arts (Photo 2).

Sister Hankyul Jang, violist, 12th grader in Sillim High School, said, "I feel grateful for letting me play God-given song "Manmin Praise" with my viola. I want to give priority to offer up God-pleasing performance" (Photo 5).

It is also interesting to note that Sister Hayoung Lee, the leader is a daughter of Senior Deaconess Mijin Oh, violinist of Nissi Orchestra; Sister Yaeeun Kim of Deaconess Sukkyung Kim, oboist; Sister Jueun Lee of Senior Deaconess Seunghee Oh, flutist; and Sister Dayoung Kim, of Deaconess Hyumi Lee, pianist. They are glorifying God from mother to daughter with instrumental performance.

Their one ultimate goal is to perform in front of the throne of God in New Jerusalem the most beautiful place of all Heaven. They came to have greater longing after they performed in Gesthemane Prayer House. They all said with one heart that it is all because of God's love and the Lord's grace for them to have a dream to be instrumentalists. They also expressed their thankful hearts with love to Dr. Lee who showed clear goals for them and has hopes for and trusts them.
