Sister Naraporn Sawaengchai, age 25, Chiang Rai Manmin Church, Thailand


I was born to a Buddhist family. When I was a sophomore in college, I was passing by Chiang Rai Manmin Church (Pastor Jaewon Lee). I saw a sign there: it said the church provided free lectures on Korean language. Since I liked a K-pop singer, I had wanted to learn Korean. So, I entered the church.

I took the lesson in the church on Tuesdays. After the lessons, the church members attended Praise and Worship Service. When I saw them praise happily, I wanted to join. In the service, I listened to Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons and received much grace. And I began to attend the service every week.

On June 26, 2011, I participated in the church's retreat and accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. On the next day, I registered in the church. I read and listened to Senior Pastor's sermons on Manmin Central Church's website and YouTube. I kept the Lord's Day, prayed, and volunteered diligently. In 2015, I was elected President of Female Young Adults' Mission. I also became a teacher of Sunday School and a translator. Now I am a fulltime worker of the church.

My parents have been teachers for a long time, and I studied Thai traditional medicine in Rajabhat University. They wanted me to become a civil servant and live with them in our hometown. If I wanted, I could do so, and they asked it of me several times, but I really wanted to work for the Lord. Laying aside abundance and comfort, I have stayed in Chiang Rai that was unfamiliar with me. But I am so happy because I live with hope for Heaven.

In early 2017, I caught a cold. I had a high fever and great pain all over my body. But I did not cease to pray and attended Special Daniel Prayer Meeting. On the night, Senior Pastor appeared in my dream and I was healed. A few days later, I was also healed of conjunctivitis by the fire of the Holy Spirit.

Afterwards, I won in the Bible Quiz held in the church. As the prize, I will go to Manmin Summer Retreat held in Korea in this coming August. I give all thanks and glory to God who saved me who was on the way to Hell without knowing the truth. And I extend my thanks to Senior Pastor who is praying for Thai souls.
