Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee met the living God after the seven years of suffering from diseases. When he met God, he was healed of all his diseases and God called him as a pastor. In 1982 he set up Manmin Church, and through his fasting and prayer, the church has shown countless signs, wonders, and powerful works and now grown up as a mega-sized church. Dr. Lee has conducted many crusades that were attended by hundreds of thousands of people or millions of people in many countries including in the U.S., Russia, India, Pakistan, and Kenya.

Through his prayer, many incurable and terminal diseases like AIDS were healed, and poor eyesight was recovered. The lame came to walk and jump, the deaf to hear, and infertile women to have babies. The prayer brought sweet rain to areas struck by severe droughts and even stopped down-pouring rain. Such amazing works of the Holy Spirit manifested by his prayer have been known to people around the world, and many have sent their prayer requests when they were faced with disasters.

In early September 2017, many people in the U.S. were trembling with fear because of the extremely powerful hurricane named 'Irma' that was roaring into the southeastern part of the country. To avoid the great disaster, the pastors in the U.S. sent prayer requests to Dr. Jaerock Lee. After he prayed, Hurricane Irma changed its course, weakened, and finally dissipated. In the end, the United States avoided disaster. Even before this amazing work, the American pastors and believers had experienced such works several times. In October 2016, Hurricane Matthew weakened in a day after Dr. Lee prayed. Hurricanes Joaquin in 2015, Irene in 2011, and Gustav in 2008 had little to no negative effects on them because of his prayer.

The posting reported that Hurricane Irma, the strongest hurricane among the hurricanes that had occurred in the Atlantic Ocean, was expected to cause a great deal of loss but it weakened and dissipated only after Dr. Jaerock Lee, known as 'the pastor of power', prayed for it as requested by pastors in the U.S.

The posting included a testimony given by Dr. Mikhail Morgulis, Founder of Spiritual Diplomacy who lives in Florida. Dr. Lee's work that drove away the disaster in DR Congo was also reported as part of an interview with Sebastian Impeto, Leader of the Christian Party in DR Congo, who stated, "In 2014, the Ebola virus was rampant in my country. I sent the prayer request to Dr. Jaerock Lee and, by his believing prayer, the number of victims and deaths came to an end."
