Scripture

Revelation 22:4-7
[4] they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.
[5] And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever.
[6] And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place.
[7] "And behold, I am coming quickly Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book."

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

You miss the face of God, don't you?
In order to see the face of God, you must have proper qualifications.
It is the same to be able to see the face of the Lord.
If a sinner sees the face of God, he will not live because of God's spiritual light.
There is a scene in Exodus Chapter 19 & 20, where God came down to Mount Sinai to give Ten Commandments to the Israelites.
There were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the Mount Sinai and a very loud trumpet sound. (Exodus 19:16)
Mount Sinai was all in smoke and God descended upon it in fire. (Exodus 19:18)
God warned the people not to come up to the mountain for fear they should die.
The Israelites trembled in fear, and they didn't dare come close to God; they didn't even try to listen to God directly.

They stood at a distance and said to Moses, "Let not God speak to us, or we will die." (Exodus 20:18-19)
Because of the dignity of God Who is the Light. They couldn't stand before God even at the sign of God's descending on to the mountain.
Then, how can people see God?
Matthew 5:8 says those who are pure in heart can see God.
Hebrews 12:14 says, "Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord."
Of course, even if a person has not perfectly accomplished sanctification, some people can see the shape of God with their spiritual eyes open by the grace of God.
But it is different from seeing God face to face.
They can see the shape of God momentarily because God conceals His light.
If God doesn't conceal His light, people cannot live when they face the Light of God.
Those who don't accomplish sanctification on earth cannot see the face of God and of the Lord in heaven forever.
They cannot be in their arms, either.
For example, those who enter the 1st kingdom of heaven cannot lift up their heads even when the Lord stands right before their eyes because of the brilliant light of glory.
Moreover, if you are not sanctified, not only when you meet with the Lord, but also when you meet with those who enter New Jerusalem, you cannot look into their light.
You cannot freely go to dwelling places higher than the 1st kingdom of heaven where you live.
When you go to such a dwelling place by special invitation, you should put on proper clothes to contend with the light from the dwelling place.
Especially those bond-servants of God among those who enter New Jerusalem; they are those who cast off darkness completely and belong to the Light.
They can freely go to any place in heaven, and they can look in the lovely face of God and of the Lord.
Now, the scripture says, "His name will be on their foreheads."
A similar thing is mentioned in the word of blessing given to the church in Philadelphia as in Revelation 3:12.
Just as it reads, "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name," the name of New Jerusalem and the new name of the Lamb, our Lord will be written on those who win all the spiritual battles.
Now, this "new name" is not "Jesus Christ" as you may know on earth.
The Lord as well as we receives a new name in heaven besides the one we use now on earth.
The new name of the Lord which will be written on the church of Philadelphia is "the King of kings, the Lord of lords."
Of course, this name will be written not in a language of this earth but in the language of heaven.
Now, writing the new name of the Lord doesn't mean inscribing some words on the body of souls like a tattoo.
It spiritually means that they will be anointed in the name of the Lord and that they will be guaranteed.
The same applies to tonight's scripture.

The forehead is the most easily spotted part in your body.
For instance, if you take a look at a new book, which part will you look at first?
You will see its cover and the title that is written on the cover.
Likewise, even when a name is written or a tag and attached to a man's body, the most easily noticed part is forehead.
And if something is written on a man's forehead, it will be the most important information about the man.
If you have a name of God written on your forehead, your glory can be easily noticed by others.
Therefore, "His name will be on their foreheads" means that God will glorify His bond-servants of God to that extent.
Now, Revelation 22:5 says, "And there will no longer be any night; and they will not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign forever and ever."
There will no longer be any curse and any night of darkness,
Only the glory of God who is the light will shine the entire heaven.
And in the glory, the saints of New Jerusalem will reign forever and ever.
However, Revelation 20:4 says that there are souls who will reign during the Millennium Kingdom.
Those who reign during the Millennium Kingdom and those who reign in heaven are different.
Those who reign during the Millennium Kingdom refer to all the souls who receive salvation.
Those people of spirit who were saved and those people of flesh who survive the 7 Year Great Tribulation will live together in the Millennium Kingdom.

When compared to the people of flesh, the life of the people of spirit will be glorious like the life of a king, and this is what Revelation 20:4 means.
I explained in great detail when I covered the Millennium Kingdom.
Not only those who enter spirit, but also those who are saved at the 1st or 2nd level of faith can live their life like a king in the Millennium Kingdom.
On the other hand, it is only the children entering New Jerusalem who can reign in heaven.
They can enjoy glory that cannot even be compared with that of a king on earth, and they live far more glorious life than those in other dwelling places in heaven.
Of course, the King is our Lord, who is the King of king, the Lord of lords.
However, the princes that a king loves can enjoy the glory that the king enjoys.
Likewise, the glory of God can come upon the bond-servants of God, and thus they can reign.
They can go to many different dwelling places in heaven, and give grace to the residents of the dwelling place.
On behalf of God the Trinity, they look around the dwelling places in heaven and add happiness to each place.

Revelation 22:6 says, "And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true"; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place."
Here, 'these words" doesn't refer only to the words about New Jerusalem, but to every word in the Book of Revelation that the Apostle John wrote.
The letters of the Lord to the seven churches, the Wedding Banquet, the 7 Year Great Tribulation, the Final Judgment, and Heaven and Hell; all of these are included in 'these words.'
Every word in the Book of Revelation is the true word that Apostle John wrote as he saw and heard.
Not only Revelation, but also the whole Bible that God wrote through the hands of many prophets, is faithful and true.
God made the prophets diligently preach the things that would take place in the future.
It is to cause the hearer to understand and live a worthy life.
God lets people know that God the Creator exists, that all the dead shall receive judgment, and that there is a Heaven and there is a Hell.
God also teaches people to stand in awe of God and to live in the light so that they can go to Heaven.
He has also shown the evidences to the souls who would only listen, but would not believe.
The evidence of God can be found just by looking at the things in the universe. But, there are many people who just will not realize it.
And thus, God manifests His power to demonstrate those things that cannot be done by human power or ability.
God moves people to believe in God and live a worthy life even in ways like this.

When the fire came down from Heaven through Elijah's prayer, the Israelites discarded idols and returned to God.
The Israelites would believe the Word of God that Moses preached only after Moses manifested the ten plagues and demonstrated that power,.
Jesus also healed many sick people and showed signs and wonders.
Because they saw such things, many people could believe the word of the Lord and they repented.
You are also witnesses who have experienced such works countless times.

You've seen many times what was impossible by man's wisdom and strength become possible in the name of the Lord.
And then, you could believe God who is invisible, and believe that the word of God is true.
Those who truly believe the word of God surely obey and live by the Word.
