Himalayan Handkerchief Crusade(1) - Himalayan Church Pastors Leaders Conference and Healing Festival(1)
   Handkerchief Crusade

"And God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul, so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out" (Acts 19:11-12).

- Thunderous works of conversion and God's healing in Siliguri in northern India and Nepali capital of Kathmandu

Crusade in Siliguri, India

The Himalayas, often called the "Roof of the World," stretches through Pakistan, a northern Indian state of Sikkim, Nepal, Bhutan, and to Tibet in the south. For the countless living in the mountainous regions, "The 2006 Himalayan Pastors' and Ministers' Seminar and Handkerchief Crusade" took place in the middle of November 2006.
The crusade, held on November 13th and 14th, 2006 in Siliguri in northern India and in Nepal's capital city of Kathmandu November 17 ? 19, 2006, with Rev. Mikyung Lee of Manmin Joong-ang Church, won back many souls for Jesus Christ and gave great glory to God with the works of God's power manifested through the prayer with the handkerchief on which Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12).
The crusade is believed to lead and already have led countless souls in the Himalayas, including Nepal, northern India, Bhutan, and neighboring regions.

Crusade in Siliguri, India, brings forth marvelous works of conversion

During the press conference held prior to the Siliguri Crusade in northern India, publishers and owners of Christian magazines gathered showed their interest in Rev. Mikyung Lee and the upcoming crusade.

Monday, November 13 ? Handkerchief Crusade / "The Message of the Cross," "Only Jesus is Our Savior"

Traditional Korean fan-dancing and praise performances in the local languages by the Crystal Singers of Manmin Joong-ang Church on the first day of the Crusade at The Himalayan Conference & Resort Center more than sufficed to fill more than 4,000 gathered with the Holy Spirit.
With a message titled "Why is Jesus Our Savior?" Speaker Rev. Mikyung Lee boldly proclaimed that the Savior of mankind is only Jesus Christ and her message led many people to repent and accept the Lord. By her prayer with the handkerchief on which Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed, people who had been relying on crutches began to walk on their own, those suffering from various infirmities became strong, and others suffering from illnesses such as cancer gave glory to God with the healing they received.

Tuesday, November 14 ? Pastors' and Ministers' Seminar and Handkerchief Crusade / Countless cases of healing and conversion

Held on the second day of the Crusade was "The Pastors' and Ministers' Seminar and Handkerchief Crusade" that began at 9 o'clock in the morning. More than 700 pastors and ministers from India, Nepal, and Bhutan were greatly challenged and motivated after hearing a lecture titled "The Secret to the Growth of Manmin Joong-ang Church."
During the handkerchief crusade held in the afternoon, the number of attendants exceeded 6,000 and the "Maximum Capacity" established by the Resort, and the Crusade was moved to an outdoor field.
Through the message titled "The Power of the Holy Spirit," about 60% of Hindus and Sikhs in attendance converted to Christianity. Many people at hand, including a child who had been unable to walk, and those who had been suffering from paralysis, deteriorating eyesight, hardness of hearing, epilepsy, and others testified to God's healing they received through the handkerchief prayer of Rev. Dr. Lee.
After the Crusade, seven churches, shepherded by Organizing Committee Chairman Rev. Sam Harsha Sereng and Rev. Reuben Diyali in Bhutan, who requested for the Crusade to be held, signed on as Manmin branch churches.

Kathmandu Crusade sets Nepal ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit

Friday, November 17, 2006 - Pastors' and Ministers' Seminar / "The Secret to the Growth of Manmin Joong-ang Church"

The magnitude of the Seminar held was unprecedented in Nepal's Christian history in that over 80 churches in the Kathmandu came together and as more than 400 pastors and ministers ? well over the anticipated amount ? participated. Those who gathered at Birendra International Conference Center attentively listened to the lecture titled "The Secret to the Growth of Manmin Joong-ang Church" even as they had to sit in aisles and temporarily placed chairs.

Saturday, November 18 ? Handkerchief Crusade / Greater number of people than expected gathered; Works of healing of variety of diseases

To a location large enough only for 1,000 people, 4,500 came. On this day, Ms. Santa Manibi, former Secretary of Women's Affairs and Culture and current member of the House of Representatives, visited the site, expressed her gratitude to Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, Manmin Joong-ang Church, and Korea, and said she hoped for expanded cultural and religious exchanges between Korea and Nepal.
When Speaker Rev. Mikyung Lee prayed for the sick with the handkerchief after proclaiming a message titled "Why is Jesus Our Savior?" people suffering from paralysis and osteomyelitis were healed. Those who had been unable to walk stood up and began walking and others who had been unable to speak began shouting "Hallelujah!" in gratitude. Still others recovered their eyesight, and were healed of epilepsy and uterine cancer. One man, who had been carried to the Crusade on a stretcher, immediately began walking after receiving prayer.

Sunday, November 19 ? Handkerchief Prayer / Fiery healing works of the Holy Spirit

A greater number of people who had experienced God's power the day before flocked to the site of the Crusade. Large screens were installed outside and there seemed to be no end to the line of people wishing to testify to the healing they had received, including a man who previously had been unable to comfortably move his arm because of a cancer in his born but was now able to move it about freely.
