  A Healthy Christian 2009-02-22

Modesty and service are two necessary virtues a Christian should have. This is confirmed by the word of God as recorded in 1 Corinthians 12:20, "There are many members, but one body." If a certain part of your body ignores other parts insisting that he is the most important, what would happen to your body? The entire body cannot rest all at the same time and generally speaking each member of the body cannot play the role of any other part. Each member has its role and the roles are all uniquely significant. Similarly, it is not proper for any member to say, "My role is more important than the others."
In the same way that our body is in good health when each part of our body plays its role properly, we can become a healthy Christian through modesty and service. (1 Corinthians 12:12-26).
