Which Way Is More Effective? 2009-07-19

It's well known fact that the compliment has a major positive impact. In the church we find two types of parents. When kids make noise during the worship service there are parents who scold them saying "God won't be pleased" and there are also parents who say "God will be pleased and reward you if you keep silent during the service."
In the first case, kids may get discouraged if they make mistakes and fail to obey their parents thinking 'God will not love me anymore', but in the latter case, the kids will try to live within the word of God with joyful hearts. So, in the course of life which way would you choose?
