[A Letter from Peru] I prayed to be intimate with friends, and my face turned sunburned!

Hi!

I am Sister Jihyun Jang. I moved into Peru following my father Pastor David Jang on Jnauary, 17, 2007. It was the first time for me to visit a foreign country since my birth, and I felt everything awkward. it was most difficult not to speak the Spanish language. At school there is no one I know and all I can do there is just to sit and return home.

I have attended the Daniel Daily Prayer Meeting on GCN broadcast through the satellite, and prayed to the Lord that He might give me wisdom to learn Spanish and let me have good fellowship with friends at school.

Through prayers, I was strengthened and came up to the classmates and spoke to them with sign language. I tried to discover aspects I had in common with them, and studied the Spanish language after school. One year later I am good at Spanish and have many friends at school. I have even tried to sunburn my face to look like theirs. My Peruvian friends are happy saying, "You have almost become a Peruvian." And they take delight in hearing about the Korean cultures I speak to them about.

The Peruvian friends do not know what kinds of worship services and prayers are acceptable to God and how they should act in the Holy Temple of God. So, since I have learned those things, though I am in the fifth grade of the elementary school, serve the church as a teacher at the Sunday School. When I help them understand the word of God with what I have been taught by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee, they are all happy. Our precious Senior Pastor, we appreciate you for your prayers and love all the time. We miss you so much. I will dedicate my life to the Lord and His kingdom as a little missionary. And I give thanks to all brothers and sisters in Christ of Manmin Central Church.

God bless you!
