Interview with Dr. Jaerock Lee about the World Situation in the Near Future

Dr. Mikhail Morgulis had an interview with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee on January 26 during his visit to Korea. Dr. Morgulis asked Dr. Jaerock Lee about 'the world situation in the near future' and following is Dr. Jaerock Lee's answer.

Q What Do You Think of the World Situation in the Near Future?

A Many people wonder what will happen in their future. Some people predict this will happen or that will happen. But through the examination of the recordings of the Bible, we can understand in which time we are living and what will really happen. In Matthew 24:7-8 is recorded, "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs." These words in Matthew 24:7-8 are being fulfilled just as they are recorded.

* While communicating with God in prayer, I often receive revelations on what will happen in the future. For my part, I eagerly want to deliver the message on the bright future of the world situation that plants joy and hope into many people's hearts. But the things God has told me about the future of the world are the opposite. We are currently hearing bits and pieces about climate changes, natural disasters, the spreading of unknown diseases such as swine flu happening all over the world, but what is more surprising is that those dangers will become rampant. Today those disasters and dangers are happening more frequently, and unfortunately people are becoming increasingly numbed to them and so cannot realize the seriousness of the situation. As prophesied in the Bible and revealed by God to those who are awake in spirit at this end time of the world, the signs of the end of the ages will become worse as time passes.

* In September of 2009, during my concentration in deep prayer, God revealed prophecy to me that we will meet with a shocking incident that will drive the whole world into unforgettable sorrows at the close the year of 2009 and receiving the New Year of 2010. Since the end of the year of 2009, all the corners of the globe including the USA and Europe have been suffering from natural disasters including historically-recorded breaking cold weather, snowstorms, flooding, and drought. In addition, the threat of terrorism has been increasing and making many people in the world suffer its painful consequences. While seeing all those things on news programs, I asked God in prayer whether they are the shocking incident He had prophesied. But God answered the incident had not yet occurred. And He added, saying, "When the New Year 2010 comes, a really big disaster will happen and the world will fall into an appalling state of pandemonium." Not many days after the word was given me, on January 12, a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake occurred in Haiti. Because of this quake, the whole world fell into shock and sorrow. I also felt severe pain and mourned. However, this just further testifies to the fact that without fail what God reveals about the events of the future will definitely come to pass. I have experienced this so many times.

* God also said that as time passes the future of the world would become increasingly more difficult as a result of the world political and economic situation. As each nation seeks its own profit and advantage, the acts of terrorism and conflicts will escalate. There will be no other course as warfare among the nations also increases. In this world situation, the powers that will take the lead in the world are largely divided into three groups; United States, China, and the EU (European Union). China has recently been overtaking United States in many fields, and she has already surpassed the US in a few fields. There have been some conflict-causing factors between both parties but they had been exercising mutual self-control not to provoke one another. But from now on the conflict-causing factors will be revealed outwardly.

* One of the examples of the factors is the problem of the North Korea nuclear weapons situation. North Korea has been insisting on their terms with confidence outwardly, but they are facing a very serious situation internally.
The nation that will enhance its influential power on North Korea is United Sates. But China will not tolerate the United Sates increasing its influence over North Korea, and try to enhance its influence on North Korea. As a result, there will be a sharp conflict between China and United States. In the middle of that situation, North Korea will compare the two nations measuring which benefits from the two will be bigger. And finally it will choose to open the door within the scope of maintaining its political system and keeping its benefits.

* Of course, the United States will exercise a more powerful influence on North Korea than China, but China will not stand still in this situation. China will try to hinder United States from having control over North Korea, and thereby the conflict between the two nations will become sharper. This conflict will be remarkably revealed. Little by little the United States will be disadvantaged in its position before the conflict does occur.
Thus, at the end of 2010 and in the beginning of 2011, China will be superior to United States in the influence on North Korea. The United States will seek various ways to overcome this international state of affairs in as many ways as possible, but will fail. In the confusion little by little the dominant position of leadership of world power will be transferred from the United States to China. And there will be another party that will not be able to endure seeing China enhancing its influence on North Korea. It is the European Union.

* When they see United States and China struggling against each other, EU will strongly feel they need to form a firmer union to consolidate their position in the world stage. Because of external and not internal factors, the EU will be driven to a state of awareness and realize they will have to become more closely united in order to seize leadership and control of the world flow. While expanding their influence in the world, the EU will meet with the situations that will cause troubles and conflicts to happen in the relations with China.
Of course, I don't mean United States will completely lose its leadership position on the world stage. The United States will naturally search for various means to enhance its influential power over the nations. But these efforts will cause other conflicts to arise. For example, some countries that have allied under the political influence of United States will begin to ally under the influence of China, and thereby serious discord will erupt between the United States and China. In addition, United States will have conflicts with EU over the Middle East.
In the midst of a fiercest struggle for a dominant leadership position in the world, China will come to the decision that it will have to form a close partnership with Russia to extend stronger power over the world. As a result China and Russia will enter into a close partnership, and China will be able to gain a much more dominant position of influence over the world than either of the two countries individually. As shared shortly before, when United States and China are placed into a conflict before the problem of North Korea, it is Russia that will empower China with the dominating influence over it and the world. Accordingly, United States will have more difficulties.

* In this phase of such a fierce triangular struggle, China will enlarge its initiative and power over the world, and this will cause both United States and EU to hold back China at the same time. With the passing of time, the world flow will change again, and the time will come when EU takes the stage as the dominating influence over the world. I mean the time will come when EU will possess the greatest power over the world and take the primary leadership position in the world politics and economics.
When this time comes, we will have to realize that the end of the ages as recorded and prophesied in the Bible has arrived. It means the time of the Second Coming of the Lord in the Air will have arrived before our eyes. It will not be long before what I am saying today will be unfolded and realized as reality.
