"Power Jesus! We Are Happy Praising the Lord and Dancing with Joy"

Brother Yuil Cheong (6th grader, from Tongyeong Manmin Church)


Brother Cheong told us that children and teachers in Tongyeong Manmin Church came to Seoul to attend the Summer Bible School. He said, "…all programs were filled with fullness of the Holy Spirit. In particular, 'Power Jesus', where children praised the Lord with dance, was very special and filled me with the grace of the Lord. We gave glory to God singing the praises with all our hearts, minds, and souls.

I listened to the message and had time to repent. Since I was so blessed, I shed tears while praising the Lord. I even could see the dossal embroidered with the Lord, the forefathers of faith, angels, and one of the four living beings like a lion, and I became filled with grace and fullness of the Holy Spirit all the more.

Also, I was moved by many of my friends who felt happy during the Summer Bible School. I was determined to become a man of goodness like the Lord so that I can become a spiritual warrior who delivers the love of the Lord to countless souls."





"I Was So Surprised by the Message! God Is Always Watching Me"

Sister Joosun Jeong (2nd grader, Children Sunday School)


Sister Jeong told us, "I have wanted to have pure and clean heart like those of my mom and dad, and other Manmin members through the 2011 Summer Bible School. In the Opening Service, I received so much grace listening to the message of Pastor Miyoung Lee who told us not to form any deficiencies of the body. She talked as if she had been watching our conduct and behavior in our everyday lives because she illustrated what I had done in my life as examples. I was so surprised.

The next day, Pastor Soojin Lee taught us how to tell a man of light from a man of darkness. Listening to her message, I realized I was more like a man of darkness. So I looked back on my life and repented with tears during prayer meeting. Pastor Lee prayed for me not to insist on what I think, but to cast away greed. I think God knows everything about me. I was surprised once again."





"The Bible Verses I Had Memorized Were Set at the Golden Bell Bible Quiz"

Brother Jinmyung Park (6th grader, Children Sunday School)


Brother Park said, "I won the first place in the Golden Bell Bible Quiz. The moment was overwhelming for me. I could achieve it because I had memorized the Bible verses with my mother for this Quiz. Of course, God helped me.

Above all, I was so impressed by the program titled 'Virtual Experience of Hell'. Watching horrifying scenes, I thought of the grace of the Lord who saved us. I shed tears together with my friends, and repented. I made a resolution to lead a life of goodness.

I personally received very special grace from God. Without God's help, I would not have been able to keep living, or I would have been born deformed. When my mother was pregnant I had Down's syndrome. But after she received the prayer of Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee, I was born healthy."





"The Performances of Friends Were Wonderful! I Am Looking Forward to Next Performing Arts Festival"

Sister Jakyung Yoon (6th grader, Children Sunday School)


Sister Yoon reported, "The Performing Arts Festival this year was more interesting and special than ever before. Friends sang a solo and played the guitar, the cello, and the violin. They performed Korean traditional dance, ballet, modern dance, and even performed a play. They were awesome. Before the award ceremony, we listened to the commentary of Pastor Sungchil Lee. He said, 'Performing skill is important, but what matters more is your heart that you offer up to God.' He added that our skill had been more improved than last year."

Sister Suji Choi, who received the grand prize stated, "I give glory to God. I give thanks to those who prayed for me, taught me how to sing and dance, and helped me with attire and hair. In the prize I received is their love.

I also took part in it and won the Serem prize. Even though I was able to receive the grand prize, I was happy because I could feel God accepted my performance with joy. I am already looking forward to the Performing Arts Festival next year."
