Manmin Summer Retreat is a global spiritual festival. This is because it was attended by 330 pastors and believers from 29 nations such as the U.S., Canada, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Israel, Singapore, Japan, the Philippines, and China. We collected the comments of those who participated in the retreat with expectation and longing for messages, prayer, signs, and wonders.

I Hope Europeans Will Be Awakened through Power, Signs, and Wonders

I have been dispatched by The Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies, Louisiana, USA to build a partnership with Manmin Central Church.

It is the very first time for me to visit Korea. I have had unusual experiences here. I have clearly been able to feel that I am living in the Lord during this Manmin Summer Retreat.

Dragonflies sat on me, and I saw moving stars in the night sky. I saw rainbows that appeared in the sky over Muan Manmin Church. I could even see the fiery pillar of the Holy Spirit in the rainbow being inspired by the Holy Spirit. I have heard about signs and wonders frequently, but it was my first time to have first-handedly experienced them. I believe God is alive and He showed me such signs, wonders, and powerful works. With such a great experience, I hope that I will be able to awaken many European souls that have never seen such signs and wonders.

I happened to hear the holiness gospel preached at the 2010 Estonia Miracle Healing Crusade with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee in October, last year. I realized that the core of the holiness gospel is that we have to get rid of the untruth from the heart and recover the lost image of God. And through this retreat, I saw believers change by the love of the Lord and the power of God.

I believe that the grace and realization that I was given here will be very helpful for me to do my ministry for souls in Europe. I desire to solidify the unity with Manmin so that Europeans will be renewed and changed greatly.

Brother Nikolay Palnikov from the U.S. stated, "The Summer Retreat was very special and had various activities as I heard. I have never seen such a retreat in either Russia or the United States. I loved the messages preached during Education Sessions. The skillful performances of singing and dancing teams were very impressive and touching. I had attended the services of Manmin Central Church through Internet and seen God's powerful works. But I could feel more blessed here. And I was so joyful when I saw dragonflies sitting on my fingertips and head."

Rev. Fernando Borbon, Costa Rican Ambassador to South Korea, was overwhelmed with joy saying, "I could feel the existence of God through moving stars."

Sister Jennifer, who is from Belgium and received MVP award in Athletic Meet, stated, "I couldn't have imagined that I would win the award. I was so surprised. I think I was able to win the game through the help of God. I have participated in many Christian camps in Europe, but Manmin Summer Retreat is totally different and awesome because I felt God's existence. It was a great blessing for me."

Director Alexsey Smotrov, who is from Missionary Training School in Saint-Petersburg of Russia, said, "I was impressed by dragonflies sitting on me. Also, I liked the Prayer Meeting with Mrs. Boknim Lee. Upon her praying for me, tears started to well up and I could not stop it." Mrs. Ekaterina Smotrova, his wife, said, "I received a lot of grace seeing such a great number of believers organize all events in systemic ways with one heart."

Rev. Patrick Roger Lawrence of Saint Luke Church, an Anglican Church in Sri Lanka, was quoted as saying "I was amazed at the number of participants. I felt like I was in Heaven."

Sister Maria Goren from Jerusalem of Israel said, "I was blessed seeing many believers praise God with one heart. The messages delivered at the Education Sessions are very useful because I can apply it to my daily life. I liked it very much."

Pastor Oleg Yershov, Manmin Church in Ashdod said, "I was impressed by the sunny and cool weather. God stopped rain from falling during all the events, and He even hid the sun with clouds. To be honest, I was worried because it rained as we left from our accommodation for the Athletic Meet. But believers around me confessed with assurance, "It won't rain at the event's ground." Their confession was proved to be true. It was sunny! I was so blessed."

Three Kenyan sisters Kahambu Mwenge Kukopa, Kachanula Stella, and Mukopa Deborah from Nairobi of Kenya confessed together, "We liked Campfire Praise and Worship. Pastor Heesun Lee led the event. While singing with her, we felt the great love of God. We were so happy visiting Muan Sweet Water Site and seeing dragonflies, moving stars, and mysterious five-colored lights firsthand."
