Pastor Carlos Leon (Washington Manmin Church, USA)



I was born in Lima, Peru and I have been a Christian for 35 years. I studied theology in France and garnered a degree in theology from Nogent Bible Institution. After the study, I performed my ministry in Paris and then in 1990 I moved to the U.S. I performed independent ministry preaching in many American churches and leading praise.

I was self-conceited of my knowledge on the Bible because I translated the books of Genesis and Daniel into Spanish several times. But at the back of my mind I felt like something was missing. I was looking for a spiritual church that will guide me well.



Joy of discovering hidden treasure

In December, 2009, I had cable TV for Spanish-speaking people installed at home. It served as a turning point for my life. It happened when I watched Manmin Central Church Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermon "Heaven" broadcast via Enlace. The message's content was like nothing I had ever heard before.

I was overjoyed as though I was a man who had found a hidden treasure and continued to watch Manmin's programs via Internet and TV. In April, 2010, I gave a three-day fasting and listened to the message on 'The Measure of Faith'. I was deeply touched by it and wanted to spread the precious messages to many people. So I summarized them using Power Point format and lectured on them through video conferencing. And I went to Washington Manmin Church that was an hour drive away from where I lived.



The first visit to Washington Manmin Church and a rainbow of promise

I went to Washington Manmin Church on May 9, 2010. I was moved by the atmosphere that was filled with warmth and joy. I started to attend and give tithe to the church. I also brought to the church Latin American believers I had ministered to. I translated the messages of worship services, praise, and Church Weekly Bulletin into Spanish and studied 'The Message of the Cross'. I also registered in MIS (Manmin International Seminary).

In the meantime, I was informed of Manmin Missionary Training Center's Global Missionary Training program held in Seoul, Korea in February, 2012 and prepared for it with a longing heart.

MMTC is one of Manmin Central Church's affiliates. It specifically presents a vision for the world mission and trains missionaries. In late January, 2012, I finally left for Korea with a fluttering heart. I saw a beautiful rainbow on the way to boarding a plane to Seoul. Watching the rainbow spread inside of clouds for around two minutes, I couldn't help but shed hot tears. This is because I believed that it was the sign of God's answer.



MMTC program changed my life

MMTC Global Program was the most important stepping stone in my life. I lacked a lot of spiritual knowledge though I earned a degree in theology at a theology seminary in France. During the program I filled up what I had lacked.

I came to realize what kind of prayer is fervent prayer and experienced the spiritual love God delights in. Aside from them, I was able to arm myself with the Word of God in a systemic way through a variety of lectures.

Back in the U.S., above all, I began to lead a life of prayer. And I tried to cast off sinful natures. Then, blessings of good health and finance came over me. Other people even said to me that my skin shone and it was amazing. I testified that the secret is fervent prayer and Muan Sweet Water which I had applied. Muan Sweet Water is the saline well water that has been made sweet and drinkable by Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer. Through the water, the power of God unfolds.



Five-fold gospel of holiness spread to the whole world via Internet

I desired to share the word of life I had learned with the believers who belong to a fellowship network in Washington Manmin Church and I wanted to become a great source for God's kingdom. I even opened a webpage named New Jerusalem on Facebook to share testimonies with people online. I opened it to give information on Manmin Central Church, answer the questions about Dr. Jaerock Lee, and share in one another's prayer titles.

Additionally, I have uploaded Dr. Lee's recent sermons on YouTube. I translate the sermons and record my voice reading the translated transcript. Then, I send the audio file that includes Spanish interpretation to Brother Jovan Kineas by email and asked him to edit the video and audio. He uploaded the edited file on You Tube. Among his sermons, the first session of "The Seed of Life" has been watched by thousands of people since it was uploaded on May 2011. People in Austria and Canada also like his sermons even though they are not Spanish-speaking countries.

I felt great joy and happiness when I heard about those who have been changed through Dr. Lee's messages. When I saw the holiness gospel spread all over the world via Internet I could tell that many people are in spiritual thirst. They said how good it would be if there were Manmin Church in their own countries.

Additionally, I have produced graphic materials that help in the understanding of Dr. Lee's sermons. The supplement material to "The Seed of Life", "God Measures Faith", "Hell", "The Measure of Faith", "The Message of the Cross", and "Spiritual Love" have given great grace to people and they grow up in faith. I also interpret worship services into Spanish in Washington Manmin Church and edit the transcript of Manmin Magazine presented during Friday All-night Service of Manmin Central Church.

I give all thanks and glory to God who called me as His worker in this time of harvest and spread the will of God with the five-fold gospel of holiness.
