Junior Deaconess Radaban Bichitbut (Phuket Manmin Deaf Church, Thailand)


I was born a deaf. Since I was 9, I got sexually interested in the same sex. I gave presents to my female friend whom I liked to impress her and I wore clothing and acted like a boy.

One day, I visited my friend Jiparet who used to be also a lesbian to go to a night club. But she was different from the past. She became a deaconess who was leading a diligent Christian life. She even introduced Manmin Central Church in Seoul, Korea to me.

In December, 2010, I paid a visit to Phuket Manmin Deaf Church in Thailand. The members were offering up the service of Manmin Central Church through Nefsis which is multipoint video conferencing system.

Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee was preaching. He looked like he was full of love. He didn't want even a single soul to go to Hell and he desired to lead all 7 billion people over the world to Heaven. Seeing him, I could feel the warm love of the Lord deep in my heart.

Furthermore, I had known many of deaf friends there from early childhood and I could see them change in the church. So, I thought this church is really different. Above all, I came to know that there are Heaven and Hell. Especially, reading Dr. Lee's book Hell, I came to know the misery of Hell and decided not to live as I had lived. I stopped living as a lesbian. Afterwards, I attended every kind of services without skipping and Daniel Prayer Meetings. I tried to become sanctified.

My mother, neighbors, and friends were struck with amazement seeing my change. Even I myself was astonished by my appearance that had been changed into that of a woman.

In the summer of 2012, I visited Korea to participate in Manmin Men's and Women's Summer Retreat. The main sanctuary of Manmin Central Church I visited for the first time was full of holy grace.

I came to long for sanctification all the more witnessing the church members who were crying in prayer in Daniel Prayer Meeting to become sanctified. I experienced the love of God deep in my heart during the whole schedule of Summer Retreat. I was determined to repay the grace.

Back in Thailand, I am leading a more diligent Christian life. I also give glory to God dancing in church and try hard to evangelize people. I hope that many of the deaf will be saved and give glory to God.
