People from 17 countries visited Manmin Central Church to help celebrate Manmin's 31st Anniversary. Many religious figures from the Philippines visited Manmin including bishops, the chairman of the Bishops' Association, and a seminary president, which drew the attention of many people. Manmin News staff conducted interviews with them.

Q: How do you feel about your visit to Manmin?

This is the third time I have visited Manmin. This church has a wonderful organizational system. Each church department performed its ministry. The Performing Arts Committee with its praise and worship, GCN TV with the broadcast ministry, and Dr. Jaerock Lee's publication ministry with his various books together were covering the whole world, which amazed me a lot.
I was deeply moved by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who serves the church members with the greatest care. There is the offering of free rides to church and home on the many church buses and vehicles, the offering of various services in its bookstore, cafeteria, and elderly care facility that are available. Above all, he showed the example of a Christian with humbleness and service so the members trust him and grow up to be 'pillars' of the kingdom of God, it all looks very good.


Q: Tell us about Dr. Jaerock Lee's Philippine United Crusade 2001.

The crusade was conducted in 2001 for four days beginning September 26th. In the Philippines, September is a month of typhoons, so local pastors were concerned about it. It was just as Dr. Lee said in the interview before the crusade that the crusade would be a successful one, and God guaranteed Dr. Lee's words with His power. At that time, two typhoons were coming but one died out and the other changed its course. It did not rain during the four days, and we even saw a circular rainbow surrounding the moon.
Through his prayer for the sick after preaching, countless people were healed of their diseases and glorified God greatly. At that time, many pastors were awe struck with the signs, wonders, and powerful works. They came to trust God who is with Dr. Lee all the more. Since then, the churches that helped the crusade have experienced revival and the holiness gospel has continued to be spread in the Philippines.


Q: President Mario, I heard you received great blessings during this visit.

My visit to Manmin Central Church itself is a blessing given to me. The greatest blessing of all, I met Dr. Jaerock Lee who is with God and received his prayer of blessing. I was touched by his kindness and humbleness though he is Senior Pastor of such a mega-sized church.
The church members heartily served us visitors with care and good deeds and they worshipped in spirit and truth during services. I think they came to do so since Dr. Lee set an example of living by the Word of God and preaches about it sincerely.
As the president of the Philippines Missionary Institute, I would like to deliver the holiness gospel to teachers in my seminary and teach it to my seminary students. As a vice chairman of the Philippines Missionary Fellowship, I also want to let my fellows know the holiness gospel.


Q: Have you received healing through Muan Sweet Water?

It was, indeed, the amazing powerful work of God that the salty seawater in the sea of Muan-gun in Jeonnam Province changed into sweet water through Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer in Seoul. I believe Dr. Lee is a man of God with a pure heart so such a work was made possible. I was also astounded by the Muan Sweet Water Aquarium where seawater fish and freshwater fish live together. For God there is nothing impossible.
In 2011, I had severe sore throat for a month. I visited Manmin Central Church in Seoul and drank Muan Sweet Water. Then, the soreness disappeared completely. During this visit in 2013, I felt my back and shoulder becoming hot when I dipped myself in Muan Sweet Water Pool and the pain in both places was gone. Hallelujah!


Q: Have you read Dr. Jaerock Lee's books?

I read The Measure of Faith, The Land Flowing with Milk and Honey, and Life of Disobedience & Life of Obedience. The Measure of Faith impressed me a lot. The book emphasizes our faith's growth in accordance with the extent of our achieving the Lord's holy heart just as God tells us to be holy as He is holy.
His books allowed me to clearly understand God's will such as keeping the whole Sabbath, denying myself, and obeying. I have been spreading Dr. Lee's books full of jewel-like precious messages to pastors around me and many believers.


Q: What do you think of the Daniel Prayer Meeting?

I was surprised at the fact that the church has Daniel Prayer Meeting every night at 9. The church members came before the meeting, prepared themselves, and cried out in prayer together in the meeting; I was impressed by all of these things. While praying in the church, I experienced the Spirit's anointing. Inexpressible peace came into my heart and I was deeply moved. My church is planning to increase the prayer time and offer up more prayer to God.


Q: What do you think about the 31st Church Anniversary Celebration Performance?

Many performing arts teams performed in unity and order, and the young performers' love and fervor for the Lord were amazing. The fabulous stage, wardrobe, and props were more excellent than those of other air broadcasters and the performance quality was professional. Without a lot of time, financial outlay, and devotion, such a great performance could not have been rendered. It was such a world-class performance as I have never seen before. It expressed Heaven as the Christians' hope well. The heavenly beauty, purity, and splendor caused me to think Heaven is the place which truly holy people can enter. So, I made up my mind to strive more to lead a holy life.
