Dr. Hew Wei Yen, age 34, Singapore Manmin Church

I am a doctor specializing in family medicine. In fact, I did not believe in God. But because I was afraid that there could be an afterlife, I tried my best to be a good person. Yet, I always thought of the worst-case scenario in everything, so my nerves were always on edge and I often got angry.

One day, I happened to read a Bible on the table in the hotel where I stayed during my trip, but I could not understand many parts of it. As I read it I wondered why God placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden and why He made hell. Many other questions popped up and made it hard for me to believe the content. I asked my Christian friends about my inquiries but none of them gave me answers. One of them even said, "Just believe. If you are still curious afterwards, ask the questions of God in heaven."

In August 2016, Dr. David Eu, one of my friends, talked about Dr. Jaerock Lee's ministry and the World Christian Doctors Network that proves the power of God based on medical data. His wife, Missionary Wong Ping Ping, ministers to Singapore Manmin Church. She handed me the book The Message of the Cross. The book was like enlightenment carried on a bolt out of the blue. The questions I had, were all covered in the book!

I also saw incurable diseases being healed through Dr. Lee's prayer. My fleshly thoughts were being chipped away and I finally accepted the Lord. The manifesting of the power of God was the most amazing thing that I had ever seen in my entire life. Such biblical works like those of Jesus healing the sick two thousand years ago spread out in front of my eyes! I believe God chose Dr. Lee and lets him help us, and I believe that Manmin Central Church is also His chosen church.

I am a doctor, but I sometimes felt helpless for some patients when I could not tell them the causes of their diseases. But now I can because I learned about the root of diseases through Senior Pastor's message. I talked to patients about the testimonies presented in WCDN international conferences when they needed any help. I encouraged them, saying, "Don't lose hope. God will help you."

WCDN attests to healing cases through the prayer of faith and the gospel of Jesus Christ founded on medical data. They emphasize that all diseases are caused by spiritual reasons so that doctors can help their patients better. I am also amazed by the powerful works manifested by Senior Pastor. There are so many healing cases by his prayer including dermatitis, neurologic, respiratory, cardiac, and gastric diseases, stroke, blindness, deafness, auto-immunity system disorders, and cancer that cannot be cured with modern medicine.



In early August 2018, I attended Manmin Summer Retreat again as I had done the previous year. I saw many people receive healing of many diseases and experienced the wonder that made optimal weather in the retreat venue though heat wave warnings were issued nationwide. I had not had the peace and had not known happiness like that before, but now I am full of hope for heaven and so happy. I give all thanks and glory to God. Thank you, Senior Pastor for letting me know true value of my life.
