I started running a small restaurant in early 2018. I prayed for peace with a poorly reputed building owner, and I tried to please God by sharing with guests my testimony that my wrist was healed through Dr. Jaerock Lee’s prayer for the sick. The building owner, however, forced me to move out with an excuse of selling the building. In December 2019, I asked Pastor Soojin Lee to pray for restaurant relocation.

The situation became extremely difficult, and in March 2020, I committed everything to God and gave all the remaining cash in the store as a thanksgiving offering. Soon, I couldn’t run the store due to the government’s covid-19 shutdown. When all hope seemed to be cut off, the work of God began.

My acquaintance suggested me to take over the convenience store that he was running. I thought it would be nice to run a restaurant inside the convenience store. But I couldn’t afford the 40,000 dollar premium and facility investment. Nevertheless, I made a confession of faith.

Just in time, the government started a corona loan support project for small business, and I miraculously received the fund in 3 days after applying. It was definitely a sign of God.

The acquaintance already decided to sell the convenience store to someone else because he thought I could not afford it, but the acquaintance and the person who was supposed to take over the convenience store understood my situation, and so I could take over store. Hallelujah!

This store has a stable sale profit from lottery tickets and cigarettes, which is helpful to run the store. In addition, by operating a food truck in the parking lot behind the store, I can sell other various foods. Today, the blessings keep adding up as the sales increase thanks to delivery app services, and in-house restaurant customers.

During my immigration life, God has been a refuge for me, who suffered from several business failures and difficulties in life. I give thanks and glory to God who leads me to the way of blessing when all the doors seem to be closed.
