During the Sunday Evening Service on December 24, we had a joyful and happy Christmas Eve service and celebration performance. Acting Senior Pastor Soojin Lee preached the sermon titled with ‘Vessels Worthy of the Lord’s Use’ (Luke 2:8-11) and the performance was hosted by Performing Arts Committee with the title ‘Merry Christmas-with Manmin’.



During the performance various kinds of songs and worship dances were displayed especially including a special song and guitar performance respectively by the vocal class and guitar class of Manmin Culture Academy. They celebrated the birth of Jesus who came to this earth for us and gave thanks and glory to our loving Father God who opened the way of salvation.
Next day on December 25, Christmas celebration service was held and Acting Senior Pastor Soojin Lee delivered a message titled with ‘Good News of Great Joy’ (Luke 2:10-12) and explained about a true witness of the Lord.
In her message she said, “By Jesus the path was opened in which we can be forgiven of sins, obtain eternal life and enter heaven and we can be liberated from sin, disease, and death. So, the birth of Jesus is truly good news for all mankind. We have to spread this good news diligently and for it we should bring His sacrifice and redemption into our remembrance every day and become a person of love who can give others the grace freely that we have freely received. And we should practice spiritual love and bear the fruit that brings joy to others. Therefore, I ask you to keep in mind the ultimate purpose of Jesus’ coming to this earth, live a life worthy of His will, bear abundant fruits of spiritual love, and spread the good news as a true witness of the Lord.”
The Christmas Eve service and celebration performance, and the Christmas celebration service were broadcast live on GCN TV and via YouTube, and simultaneously translated into 8 languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, French, Spanish, Mongolian, and Vietnamese. It was also translated into many local languages including Hindi at each worship place and into different sign languages in each country.
