The explosive work of God's power [Korea Herald]

This article was contributed by the United Holiness Church of Korea, Man Min Joong Ang Church. - Ed.

The UPC Network, led by Rev. Ricardo Reyes, held the "New York Crusade" along with Rev. Dr. Lee Jaerock July 27 to 29 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

The first night of the gathering opened with the singing of praises by famous gospel singers, including Alvin Slaughter. Also featured were performances by Korean musicians.

This three-day crusade was attended by pastors and broadcasters from all over the world, including Britain, Taiwan, Israel, Russia, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.

On the first day, New York Sen. Ruben Diaz presented a letter of "Proclamation" to the speaker, Rev. Lee. On the second day, a "Plaque of Citation" was presented by Jose R. Peralta, a member of the New York State Assembly, and the next day, New York City Council member Hiram Monserrate presented a "Plaque of Proclamation."

On each day, Rev. Lee preached on topics like "Why is Jesus our only Savior?," "God, the Creator" and "The Power of the Holy Spirit." Rev. Lee then prayed for the sick. Those who had been suffering from evil spirits were set free. The mute came to speak and the blind came to see. Many stood up from their wheelchairs and threw away their crutches.

The people who claimed to be healed of their diseases were medically checked and their testimonies were verified and confirmed by the doctors of World Christian Doctors Network.

"It was my first time to attend Rev. Lee's crusade. This event changed my life. I felt the messages of Rev. Lee were like keys in solving all types of problems. What was really amazing was that people were being healed while they were listening to the message, even before Rev. Lee began to pray for the sick. I have attended many crusades of famous evangelists, But I have never seen so many people being healed just one by prayer done from the podium," said Dr. Vitaliy Fishberg, a medical doctor at New York Hospital.

Frank Wright, the president of the National Religious Broadcasters, expressed his opinions on the crusade. "Rev. Lee's message is very spiritual yet very easy to understand. It was amazing to see so many people being healed through his prayer."

Dr. David Waisman, a Peruvian congressman, said, "I was touched. Rev. Lee is seeking to overcome evil with goodness. Through the power of God, the mute came to speak."

This crusade was broadcast live in more than 200 countries. Furthermore, in more than 20 countries, including Israel, Russia and India, large display screens were set up for the event.

Rev. Ricardo Reyes, the chairman of the organizing committee for the crusade, said, "We experienced the living God through Rev. Lee. It was a time of blessing that brought about spiritual change in churches of New York. I am so happy that I have been healed of my diabetes and high-blood pressure. Rev. Lee is a true man of God and he is a servant of God, who only gives glory to the God the Trinity."

Harvey Thomas, the president of the Federation of European Broadcasters, said, "I could feel that the performances were for the glory of the Lord. Rev. Lee's message was solely biblical and very touching."

This crusade was viewed as an event that has helped awaken the Christians in the United States to have true faith by proving that the Bible is true, through the word of life, manifestations of biblical signs and wonders, and the works of God's power.
